ROV MANTIS

Picture
The ROV Mantis is a compact, mini ROV which excels at a surprising range of inspection and scientific missions. Based on a modified BlueROV2 from Blue Robotics, in the Heavy configuration, ROV Mantis employs 8 thrusters for six-degrees of freedom control and stability. With ROV power provided via its umbilical, the ROV Mantis can operate without interruption at depths of up to 200m. And armed with a compact gripper, ROV Mantis can perform modest recovery or sampling missions.
