HAWAI'I'S CHALLANGE

Feeling the impact of climate change and increased human activity, one such community, Hawai’i, took action. In 2018, a collaboration of civic and community stakeholders launched the Sustainable Hawai‘i Initiative to effectively manage 30% of their nearshore waters by 2030.
